Josh is an Oxford and Harvard-educated entrepreneur, community builder and educator. Before Holon, he spent several years running a Silicon Valley startup at the intersection of technology and human flourishing. He has worked in a coaching capacity for several high-performance clients including athletes, as well as with dozens of people with chronic health issues. He advises several companies in the health sector, and is also the co-founder of the Artificial Wisdom Initiative.
Lauren is a fully-qualified yoga teacher and ski instructor. With degrees from Bristol and Schumacher, her core background is in ecological design thinking, with a particular interest in how physical spaces can promote wellbeing, and how we can be inspired by nature’s design principles in our journey towards health.
Maureen has been teaching hatha yoga for almost two decades, with over 1000 hours of professional training. She is one of Scotland’s only qualified yoga therapists, focused on yoga interventions for chronic health issues. She has studied yoga and breathwork abroad with teachers including Sharat Jois, Sudhir Tirawi and Ramaswami, and also holds qualifications in yin yoga and thai massage.
With over a decade of experience in the health and fitness industry running a personal training and nutrition business, Iain brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Holon. Throughout his career, he has remained at the forefront of industry trends and advancements. He is a qualified Master Trainer & Fitness and Motivation Coach from the European Institute of Fitness and an MNU certified Nutritionist.
Dr Heather Sandison is one of the leading naturopathic doctors in the United States. She is the founder of the functional medicine clinic, Solcere, and founder of Marama, a residential care facility for those navigating Alzheimers. She is the primary clinical investigator and author of peer reviewed scholarship, author of the forthcoming book “Reversing Alzheimers”, and host of the Reverse Alzheimer’s summit.
Dr. Brianna Stubbs is a world expert in exogenous ketone metabolism and its implications for performance, resilience and health-span. She completed her PhD in Metabolic Physiology at the University of Oxford, studying the metabolism and the application of exogenous ketone salts and esters. She is a two-time World Champion lightweight rower and is currently Director of Translational Science at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging.
Dr Michael Ferguson is an Instructor in Neurology at Harvard Medical School. He is pioneering the field of Neurospirituality - the study of human spirituality using applied methods from neuroscience. He directs the Neurospirituality Lab at the Center for Brain Circuit Therapeutics at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and also directs Wellness Programming for undergraduates at Harvard.
